The DOVO Razor 100 in 5/8 inch is the ideal choice for beginners and anyone who prefers a robust and no-frills knife. Despite its simplicity, it impresses with its crucial properties such as sharpness, thoroughness and handling. Each surface of the razor goes through several steps to achieve a fine grinding pattern. The grooved tang on both the top and bottom ensures that you have a firm grip on the knife even with wet or foamy fingers.

Material: Reliable silver steel

The razor is made of carbon steel with the material designation 1.2210, better known as silver steel. In order to achieve a hardness of around 61 HRC, the material is heated to over 1000 degrees and then immediately quenched with a special oil. Tempering at around 200 degrees gives the blade elasticity and toughness.

Handle material: Uncomplicated PMMA

The handle is made of PMMA, also known as acrylic glass, a thermoplastic. A complex polishing process gives the material its unmistakable shine, which underlines the high-quality appearance of the DOVO razors. PMMA does not require any special care; Soap residue and dirt can be easily wiped off with a damp cloth.

Cut: Fully hollow for a gentle shave

The razor has a fully hollow grind, which is ground concavely from the back to the cutting edge. This design combines great flexibility with high torsional rigidity. The blade dynamics ensure a gentle shave, accompanied by a characteristic sound when the knife swings while cutting the hair.
