There is hardly any piece of clothing that is as universal and timeless as the T-shirt. Originally conceived as underwear for soldiers, the T-shirt has evolved over the decades into a symbol of freedom, self-expression and style.

The history of the T-shirt goes back to the 19th century. It was designed to improve soldiers' hygiene by being worn as underwear under uniforms. However, over time, people began to realize the potential of the T-shirt as an everyday garment. In the 1950s it became a symbol of rebellious youth culture, and actors such as James Dean and Marlon Brando wore it to express an attitude of non-conformism.

A crucial factor in the comfort and quality of a T-shirt is the material used. We only use 100% combed cotton of the highest quality for our T-shirts. This type of cotton is softer, stronger and more durable than unkempt cotton. The cotton fibers are combed before processing to remove impurities and make the fabric even smoother and more comfortable on the skin.

Our t-shirts have a grammage of 170 GSM. This weight gives them some substance without being heavy or uncomfortable. A T-shirt with the right weight feels pleasantly light and still retains its shape and durability. The material is breathable and ensures you feel comfortable in any weather.

Another important aspect in the production of our T-shirts is the reinforcement of the collar area. The collar is often exposed to a lot of stress, whether when putting it on and taking it off or when wearing accessories. To ensure that your T-shirt still looks good even after numerous washes and adventures, we have additionally reinforced the collar area. This ensures that the collar retains its shape and does not wear out.

What types of T-shirts are there?

T-shirts come in a variety of styles and designs. From classic round neck T-shirts to V-neck shirts and polo shirts - the variety is impressive. Each style has its own characteristics and suits different occasions. Round neck T-shirts are the most commonly worn option and are good for everyday wear. V-neck shirts add a certain elegance to the look, while polo shirts have a sportier touch. In addition, there are T-shirts with different sleeve lengths, from short to long.

Why is it called a T-shirt?

The name “T-Shirt” is derived from the characteristic T-shape of the garment. It has short sleeves and a straight hem at the bottom, which makes it reminiscent of a “T”. The term “T-shirt” first came into use in the 1920s, when this garment was introduced as underwear for soldiers in the US Navy.

How do you wash T-shirts?

Washing T-shirts is relatively straightforward. As a rule, T-shirts can be easily washed in the washing machine. It is advisable to turn them inside out to preserve the colors. Use a mild detergent and select a gentle cycle at a low temperature. Air dry the t-shirts or tumble dry on low to prevent shrinkage. Follow the care instructions on the label to ensure that your t-shirts stay beautiful for a long time.
