Materials and craftsmanship

The 1.2210 carbon steel used is hardened to approximately 61 HRC, combining a hard edge with the necessary elasticity. Each polished horn handle differs in grain and color variation, making every Prima Horn unique.

The round point is a versatile, classic blade shape. The full hollow grind makes the blade flexible and provides the characteristic feedback of a traditional straight razor.

How to use

Before each shave, strop the straight razor on a suitable leather strop. Stretch the skin, guide the blade with little pressure at an angle of approximately 30 degrees, and begin with short strokes in the direction of hair growth.

Then rinse the blade with warm water, carefully pat it dry, and leave the razor open to dry completely. During extended storage, an acid-free blade oil protects the non-stainless carbon steel from stains.
