Pleasant scent and good consistency. Easy to apply with a brush or by hand.

First off: I don't use a brush, but rather lather up in my hands or directly on my head. The Proraso shaving cream creates a fine, long-lasting lather that allows the blade to glide very smoothly. And if needed, a little water quickly restores the glide. The scent is okay, but I'll try the white line next time.

A very delicately scented shaving cream. However, it took me a while to find the ideal cream-to-water ratio to create a good lather. Because it's quite soft, almost all of it initially disappeared into the brush without producing any lather. So I had to gradually increase the amount of cream and water to get a decent lather. And that's why I'm deducting a point: for the large amount of cream required.
For many years I've been using Taylor of Old Bond Street, which allowed me to create the perfect lather with an almond-sized amount of cream (slightly thicker in consistency than Proraso). Since Mootes unfortunately still doesn't carry these shaving creams, I tried Proraso and had to use about half a finger's worth to achieve a comparable lather.
Conclusion: A lovely scented cream, but I'll be switching back to Taylor of Old Bond Street afterwards and staying there for many more years :-)
