It was made by Ralf Aust, who has been producing high-quality razors for several decades and has now perfected this art. He makes the 5/8 inch wide blade entirely by hand. The razor expert uses special carbon steel as the material. There's a reason for that. The non-stainless steel impresses with its particular hardness and resistance.

In the German knife town of Solingen, known for its long and proud tradition of producing high-quality blades, razors have a special meaning. But even in this renowned city, there are only a few specialists left who are dedicated to the elaborate hand-crafting of high-quality blades. A notable exception here is the razor manufacturer Aust. In this traditional workshop, razors are still manufactured today using tried and tested methods and meticulously handcrafted. The result is razors of exceptional quality that are characterized by their longevity and perfect sharpness.
