The cowhide, vegetable tanned and also known as “old tanning”, is characterized by its perfect preparation for use as a strop. This leather technique results in a soft surface with no scars or bumps, making it ideal for razor sharpening.

With dimensions of 30.5 cm x 4.5 cm x 0.3 cm, the strop offers the optimal size for precise work and is compact enough to be easily stored.

APPLICATION: Sharpen with ease

Before every shave with a classic razor, it is advisable to remove it. Place the back and cutting edge of the knife on the taut belt and pull it towards the back without applying any pressure. Flip the knife over the back and repeat the process for the other side. After 10-15 rounds your knife will be perfectly sharpened and ready for a gentle shave.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Maintain perfection

The high-quality strop is made from naturally tanned leather. To prevent drying out, the strap should not be exposed to direct sunlight or stored in a damp bathroom. Occasional polishing with a leather balm maintains the smooth surface of the strop.
