A classic straight razor requires regular honing and care with a leather strop. With the Artist Club DX, you can simply replace a dull blade while retaining the direct, agile feel of an open blade—particularly useful for contours, multi-day stubble, and hard-to-reach areas.

Materials and workmanship

The polished and finely brushed blade is made of stainless steel. The particularly slim geometry of the DX model allows for a wide range of angles, excellent manoeuvrability, and an especially shallow angle—an obvious advantage when shaping precise beard contours.

The handle is made of resin-stabilized wood and combines a natural, warm feel with good moisture resistance. The blade can be disinfected; however, the wooden handle is not suitable for chemical or thermal disinfection.

How to use

Use only suitable Feather Artist Club replacement blades. Squeeze the razor back together and guide the blade directly from the dispenser into the holder; never touch the cutting edge with your fingers.

Prepare the skin and facial hair thoroughly, then guide the razor with very little pressure in calm, controlled strokes. Before opening and cleaning the head, always remove the blade first and handle the internal springs carefully.
