How to shave properly: Trumper's tips

For the best shave, the barbers at Geo. F. Trumper recommend shaving after a bath or shower and prepping your skin with protective Trumper's Skin Food . Using a shaving brush, apply a small amount of shaving cream to the wet brush and work it into a lather in the palm of your hand or with shaving soap. Lather up your beard using circular motions and shave in the direction of hair growth.

Simply rinse with cool water and reapply Trumper's Skin Food to nourish your skin.

Whip a small amount into a creamy lather using a damp shaving brush. Gradually add water until the lather is dense and provides good glide.

A shaving brush is recommended because it produces especially even lather. If needed, the cream can also be spread with wet hands.

It has a spicy, warm, leathery fragrance with floral and woody nuances. The scent accompanies the shave but remains more subtle afterward than a cologne.

Orders that we have received by 14:00 and that you have already paid for by credit card, PayPal, or Twint are usually processed and dispatched on the same day.
