The Layrite Story

Layrite was born in 1999 from a genuine barbershop problem: conventional mineral oil-based pomades were difficult to wash out and made Donnie Hawley’s work more challenging. His solution was a water-soluble pomade that provides strong hold while still washing out easily: “Hold like wax. Wash out like gel.”
