Serves to straighten the razor's ridge. The leathering is done at a flat angle with the back facing away from the body in the direction of pulling. The knife should be rotated alternately over the back and then pulled back towards the body.

Changing direction across the cutting edge damages the knife and causes it to lose its edge.

Orders that we receive by 2 p.m. and that you have already paid for with credit card, PayPal or Twint are usually processed and shipped on the same day. If you order on account and are a new customer, we will ship as soon as we have received payment.

Der Stossriemen hat eine 2. Seite (grün), die für die Verwendung mit der grünen Schleif-Paste gedacht ist. Eine kleine Tube mit grüner (Chromoxyd-) Schleifpaste, normale Körnung, liegt sogar bei. Nach dem Schärfen eines Rasiermessers auf feinsten Steinen sorgt diese Paste auf dem Stossriemen für Endschärfe. Man sollte übrigens die Schärfepasten (grün, rot, schwarz, rosa) nicht auf dem normalen Abziehriemen vor der Rasur verwenden, dort nur Lederfett oder Streichriemenpaste (gelb) verwenden!
