Conventional combs these days are mostly made of cheap plastic. No wonder they neither feel good nor last particularly long. As the material for the Mootes hair comb, we use cellulose, which is obtained from wood. Our motto is sustainable and natural instead of artificial and cheap. The factory's craftsmen first cast several sheets of thin cellulose. When there are enough layers on top of each other and they have completely hardened, the individual tines are precisely milled out. The subsequent grinding and polishing of the hair comb not only brings out the great look, but also ensures that the teeth can glide gently through your hair. As a sort of crowning achievement, the comb is embossed in gold with the lettering “Mootes”. Skilled craftsmen carry out the individual work steps entirely by hand and thus create a special care utensil of exquisite quality.
The special manufacturing method gives the Mootes hair comb a great look, which experts also call the “turquise look”. This is particularly effective in bright light, exudes a harmonious retro flair and is somewhat reminiscent of tortoiseshell.
